🤝 1. Acceptance of These Terms
1TimeTable ("the service", "we", "our") is developed and operated by Mitesh Soni. By creating an account, or by using the 1TimeTable apps or the 1timetable.app website, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.
📅 2. The Service
1TimeTable lets you create timetables, share them with a 6-character code or link, and subscribe to timetables created by others — on the web, on iOS and Android (including home screen widgets), and on TV.
The service is currently free of charge, with no advertising and no paid tiers. We reserve the right to change this in the future; any such change will be announced in advance and will never retroactively charge you for past use.
👤 3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You can register with an email address and password, or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age required to consent to these terms in your country, a parent or guardian must agree to them on your behalf.
- Provide accurate information — in particular, a display name that does not impersonate someone else.
- You may delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
📝 4. Your Content & Sharing
Timetables, subjects, and other content you create remain yours. By creating them on 1TimeTable you grant us the non-exclusive licence needed to store, display, and distribute that content according to your sharing settings — to your devices and widgets, to people who have your share code or link, and (for public timetables) to users browsing search.
- Sharing is your choice. Anyone with a timetable's share code or link can view and subscribe to it. Public timetables are additionally discoverable in search.
- You are responsible for the content you publish in timetable names, descriptions, institutions, subjects, and labels.
- Deleting a timetable stops subscriber access immediately; data is purged permanently after the 30-day recovery window described in the Privacy Policy.
🚦 5. Acceptable Use
Don't use the service to:
- publish content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- impersonate a person, school, or institution, or misrepresent a timetable as official when it is not;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or infrastructure, or to probe or disrupt the service (including flooding the API, scraping at scale, or circumventing rate limits);
- distribute malware or spam through shared timetables or any other feature.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
🔑 6. Third-Party Sign-In
If you sign in with Apple or Google, your use of those identity services is also governed by Apple's and Google's own terms and privacy policies. We receive only the identity information described in our Privacy Policy.
🔧 7. Availability, Changes & Termination
1TimeTable is a small, free service. We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
If we ever decide to discontinue the service, we will give reasonable advance notice so you can export or copy your timetables.
⚖️ 8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Timetable content is created by users — we do not verify that any schedule is accurate or official. Always confirm important times with your institution.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mitesh Soni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for this free service, is zero) or ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian Rupees), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
🛡️ 9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mitesh Soni from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of: (a) content you create or share through the service; (b) your violation of these terms; or (c) your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party in connection with your use of the service.
🏛️ 10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the service, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at helpwithapps@mailbox.org and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days — most issues can be sorted out with an email.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
📝 11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version number and effective date at the top of this page and note the change in the app stores' release notes or on the website. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
